Choosing a casket is a very emotional and personal decision. You are, in essence, forced to decide upon the last item you will ever be purchasing for your loved one. Additionally, everyone’s set of circumstances is different. And of course, cost is always a consideration.

This is a plain pine box. It is constructed from common pine. It has been sanded and built using wooden dowels and glue. It has not been stained or lacquered. It does not have a lining, just excelsior (straw) as bedding. It has a Jewish star on the foot end. Please note: Because of the simple, minimalist construction of a plain pine box, it is possible while placing earth on the casket during burial that the lid may crack or split. This, in no way, should discourage you from choosing it.

This casket is constructed from poplar wood. It has been sanded but not lacquered or stained. It has a fabray (crepe) lining, a lid that slides off rather than being hinged, and a Jewish star on the foot end of the lid. If you select the Isaiah for a graveside service, our fees will total $8,500.
