David Rabinovici

I knew David to be a friend many decades ago, and we hadn’t kept in touch, but his memory would surface from time to time. It was during those moments of reflection that I realized just how generous he had been, what a friend he had been. A cheerful giver, he taught me interesting arts, one being a legacy from his grandfather–and then gave me the tools to continue on my own. I always had the sense that David, whether offering me a polished sword or special lens, that he was giving part of himself. I wish I would have been as good a friend as he was to me.
