OBITUARY

Ilona Robin Chomsky
a.k.a. the Mommala

Ilona was born on October 13, 1952.
She grew up in Queens with her sister Laura and met Natt in 1974 while working at Hillbilly Jeans.
Although her relationship with Natt had its ups and downs back in those days,
her career was impressive as she worked her way up the corporate ladder.
She eventually became executive vice president of sales for a large garment company.
Ilona was an expert schmoozer and even taught those around her a little bit about schmoozing.
Back in 1993 Ilona married Natt, the love of her life, and soon there after
had their beautiful angel Rachel, their daughter.
Ilona was an amazing salesperson, wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend.
She was impressive at what she did and accomplished!
Then on June, 2020, Ilona’s life changed when she got a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
There are no words to express the bravery and fight that this beautiful warrior displayed for two years.
She finally succumbed to this illness on July 10th and is with God.
Today we celebrate her life and every day here after she will always be
remembered as the great person she was.
God bless Ilona.

What can I say about this incredible woman that hasn’t been said by those closest to her. A loving mom, wonderful wife and friend, a contributor to the world and advancement of social evolution. Although she will be sorely missed, her memory and smile, will remain with us all.

“ ‘ She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazine. She was beautiful for the way she thought. She was beautiful for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful for her ability to make other people smile, even if she was sad. No, she wasn’t beautiful for something temporary as her looks. She was beautiful deep down to her soul. She was beautiful. ‘ “ —F. Scott Fitzgerald
