I have fond memories of Michele dating back to her years at Syracuse University and thereafter. I can remember the two of us laughing (at her window when she lived in a high-rise apartment across the street from the Dakota) when she pointed out Lauren Bacall taking out some trash to the street in order not to miss the pick up. Poor Lauren. As time went by and we had contact less and less, she still was happy to hear from me whenever I called. RIP, Michele. The world would not have been the same without you.
