  1. We are so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God’s sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29). Those who are raised to life on a restored paradise earth will have the prospect of never again being subjected to misery, sickness, and death (Revelation 21:4). These and other comforting Bible verses and thoughts can be found at jw.org.

  2. I am deeply saddened by your loss. Sharon was a colleague and mentor of mine with the ELT instructors. It was due to Sharon’s love of teaching and sharing that with other teachers that I became a part of the ELT family. She will be missed by many. My condolences to her family and friends.

  3. I met Sharon through ELT. She always greeted me with a hug. My condolences to her family and friends. Rest easy Sharon.
    Tina Brett

  4. Sharon was one of my first friends in the ELT program, and, over the years, our friendship continued to grow. We shared laughs, and we shared sorrows, and always, I admired her wit, her wisdom, her intelligence, her warmth, and her humor. She enriched my life, and I will miss her greatly. May she rest in peace.

  5. Sharon was such a kind colleague at ELT. She was so intelligent, warm, and willing to share herself. May her memory be a blessing to everyone who knew her. Jane Turk

  6. Sharon was a friend, colleague, confident since we met in the early 980’s. Our decades of working together only made our friendship stronger. She never complained and always saw the glass as half full! She will be missed by her friends, the teachers, the students and the schools in Nassau County. But most of all she will be missed by ME!

  7. Sharon will be missed by her NYSUT colleagues. I always enjoyed working with Sharon as part of the ELT cardre. Please accept my condolences.

  8. Sharon always offered kind words to me. Her spirit and vibrant energy will forever be remembered.
    I will miss her!
Please accept my condolences, blessings to you. ~ Bernice Rivera (NYSUT ELT)

  9. We are all saddened by the loss of our ELT colleague. Sharon was a teacher’s teacher, an optimistic sincere leader whose guidance will be missed. May faith and fond memories sustain you. With sympathy, Helene

  10. I am so saddened. I met Sharon through ELT. I loved her sense of humor and innate common sense. My prayers go out to the family. Sharon you will be missed. Rest in peace.
