Paul was a great violinist, wonderful chamber musician and memorable personality. He will be missed and fondly remembered.

Paul was one of my closest friends for over sixty years. During that time we played string quartets regularly at my home and also performed numerous concerts at Carnegie Recital Hall, Town Hall, and other events. He was an extraordinary violinist who learned melodies from every country on the globe which he used for strolling at the Plaza Palm Court. A person with a great sense of humor and repertoire of an infinite number of jokes, he will be missed more than words can express.

Paul (DaDa) played at my husband and my wedding 👰 on November 16, 1991 as a wedding gift to us. Many fond memories of Mr. Gurevich (Nina and Alex’s dad) over the years. He will be remembered. XO

Paul and I met in the All City High School Orchestra, went to college together and played concerts and much chamber music together. I shall miss miss his wit, humor and decency. He was a superlative violinist and musician and the world is poorer for his loss.
