Hi Mom,
It’s been about 9 months since you left us. The world has changed since then with a terrible disease, a pandemic. I hate to say this, but, if you had been around for another couple months, we, your family, would not have been able to see you and take care of you, how we did, because of health restrictions. So, in that case, I am glad we had the time to say goodbye.
I’m so sorry that you were not able to see Emmett in real life, although you did see pictures of him and hopefully looking down on him now as he grows. He just passed his 15th month birthday and is getting big.
The twins, Tyler and Jessy, became a B-nai Mitzvah 2 weeks ago. And yes, Karyn and Randy finally bought a house, a nice big colonial in West Nyack, just 7 minutes from me and Gail.
Can you believe that in about a month, I’ll be 70 years old,,, now , that IS scary. and 4 months later Gail will be 70 too.
Unfortunately, Gail’s sister Carol, just died (9/15/20) from a 3 year battle with Kidney cancer. Very sad. We’re working on, hopefully soon, to finalize your memorial stone so that we can have your Unveiling. Would you believe that dad has been gone 10 years from us,,, time goes so fast. I hope you have been spending time with him.
