We welcome you to share your memories with us and with those who visit here. You can post to the memorial book by leaving a message at the bottom.

  1. I have a lot of fond memories of Claire growing up. I remember going to her house in valley Stream with my family many times. When I moved to Florida I would visit her in margate where she lived. We would go to eat and talk about our family and all the cousins. She told me many stories that I will cherish forever. She was a beautiful person. I will miss her so much. RIP Claire. .

  2. Mrs. Lowey was the mom who knew how to be a friend to her kids and their friends. A true sweetheart. She will be sorely missed and her memory is a blessing.

  3. Holly & David, So many memories of time spent with Claire, especially during childhood. Although I didn’t speak with your mom as much as I would have liked in recent years, somehow I took comfort knowing she was there. I hear her voice in my head even now. She was an amazing woman and her memory lives on. May her memory be a blessing always.

  4. I was remembering the first time I met Claire, when Holly brought her to my house for Christmas. I made apple martinis and she, my mother, and aunt talked, laughed, and song broke out. It was such a lovely time and I loved Claire from that day on. A beautiful woman, inside and out. She will be missed.

  5. Holly, I’ve known you and your family for over 30 years. I know how important both your parents were to you. What a wonderful daughter you were and how proud you made both your parents. You were especially close with your mom, and were lucky to have spent all that time with her in Florida. That is what will help bring you peace. Your parents are with you always and, when you least expect it, you will see signs of them, and reminders. It is then you will know they are always with you, watching over you, David, Rae and Jon. She is now pain free, and back with your father and whomever is waiting for her on the other side. Holly, this long hard battle is behind you. Allow memories to be a comfort and a blessing.

  6. I remember her being such a lovely mom. I’m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  7. Always enjoyed talking with Mrs. Lowey as a teen. Listening to her stories about her days as a teen were fun and sometimes came with advice. The last of a generation of women who never left home without lip stick on. My condolences to Holly and David

  8. I remember meeting your Mom when she visited NY which seems like a long time ago.She was warm welcoming and friendly.I have heard many touching stories of your life growing up with her and even more stories of your closeness during these last years. May your memories help at this time to remember and CELEBRATE her life. She is always with you in your heart.
