Notes: Marion Stern, 96, died peacefully in her sleep on March 18th, 2022, at Ann’s Choice Senior Facility in Warminster, Pennsylvania. Born February 24th,1926 in Brooklyn, New York, she is predeceased by her parents, Anna and Max Cantor of Brooklyn, New York and her late husband of over 25 years, Erick Stern from Plainview, Long Island. Marion (also known as Niki by her family and friends) was a gifted music teacher who taught in the New York City Public School system for 23 years as well as giving private piano and vocal lessons. She had a beautiful soprano voice and had numerous compositions for beginning piano students published. Survivors include her two daughters, Dara Zivotovsky of Holland, Pennsylvania and Lindsay Drogin of New York City, New York; her sister Ruth Marcus; four grandsons – Maxwell and Abraham Drogin, Mason and Andrew Zivotovsky; and nephew Dr. Craig Marcus. Private services and burial were held at the New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, New York. Our sincerest condolences. Even though it’s been years since we’ve seen each other we have many good memories growing up with the Cantors.
