Oh Ruthie, you were always a beacon of sunshine and happiness, and you brought smiles and cheer to everyone around you. You were loved by all who knew you, and you touched everyone’s lives in your own unique way. You are a very special soul, and your light lives on in all of us who got to see it. I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to know you. You will be dearly missed.

When I think of Ruthie I will always remember her smile and laughter. So many years of knowing such a remarkable lady. She was blessed to have such a wonderful caring daughter who took such great care of her over the years. She now is a special angel watching over her family.

First let me say the universe is shining brighter, with the light and love Ruth’s soul has brought to it 💫 I remember sitting around Greg’s parents home at the dining room table during the holidays and Ruth was so full of great stories, smiles, and laughter. As we all did, she loved BINGO and got excited at all the silly gag gifts we would all exchange. Her light shone through wherever she went. Continue enjoying your energy at the highest vibration Ruth!

When I was a little girl I remember visiting Ruthie at aunt Lily’s house in Brooklyn. Then when I was a bit older the Resnick family would come out to Long Island from Brooklyn to visit us. Ruthie was always so much fun to be with she always had a big smile on her face and only saw the wonderful things in life. May she rest in peace and I hope she’s partying with all of our family who have left us!

Soon after you and I first met at the bus stop I met your joyful, friendly, humorous mom. She always gave me such a warm welcome when I walked into your home. I know you will treasure the beautiful memories of her as I do of my mom.🌹

I remember when we were working at Kramer Lane, I got a new car–a Nissan Quest. Your mother told me I had to put something red in the car. She could not relax until I did that to keep me safe. I took a red ribbon, tied it in a bow and put it in the glove compartment. May your memories comfort you at this sad time.

Oh Ruthie! I came to know you later in your life from videos your amazing daughter posted of you singing and the trials and tribulations of aging. What a coincidence that my beloved Mom ended up in rehabilitation in Huntington Hills too and we visited in the lobby. What a spark you had and I am still smiling when I think of the joy you brought to those around you. Rest In Peace and condolences to your family. May you shine brightly watching over us all and fill our lives with light and love.
