Irwin Paul Lew. Paul Lew passed away peacefully on February 27, 2022. Paul was an internationally recognized structural engineer at Thornton Tomasetti. He was the senior engineer on some of the world’s most recognizable buildings, including the Winter Garden in lower Manhattan, the Sky Bridge at the Petronas Towers (Malaysia), Terminal One at JFK Airport, and the Shanghai Towers. He was lead engineer of the South Bridge at the World Trade Center, one of the only original structures still standing after 9-11.
Paul was very dedicated to his family. He had a loving marriage to Lynn Lew, who passed in 2019. He is survived by his children Keith Lew, Jennifer Roboff and Danielle Lew and by his grandchildren Ethan and Isabella Lew and Colin and Chloe Roboff.
